Tennis, even in a storm! Storm Tennis

Gale-force winds, thick fog, a lightning strike or two… and we still want to play tennis!
A one-on-one (singles) tennis game in a storm.

The wind carries the ball. Fog hides your opponent's side. And when the count hits 0, lightning strikes whichever court the ball is over.
Read the weather and hit the ball into your opponent's court.

Pure speed

Even in a storm, the ball flies hard and fast. Hit a high ball with a power shot and it's a smash.

Win with placement

Hit left and right, and drive it where your opponent can't reach.

Bounces and serves

Let the ball bounce once, then hit it back. Toss and serve three ways: fast, normal, or soft.

How it plays

Just taps and swipes

Your player moves automatically. When the ring at your feet lights up, tap.

Tap for a stroke, swipe up for a lob, swipe down for a power shot. How far left or right you touch sets your aim.

A short tutorial walks you through it the first time.

Wind, fog, and lightning

  • Wind: it carries the ball. Read the wind and your shot lands in. Misread it and it drifts out.
  • Fog: your opponent's side gets hard to see.
  • Lightning: when the charge builds, a countdown appears. At 0, it strikes the court the ball is over, and the other side scores.

The storm grows wilder as the score climbs.

Two venues

  • Indoor court: calm at first. Then the roof and walls blow away, and you're out in the storm.
  • Highland: a clay court with a storm from the first serve.

Tennis rules, short matches

A 10-point tiebreak. You get two serves, and the serve changes sides every 2 points.

Outfits

Choose a skin tone, hairstyle, and hair color for both you and your opponent.

Keep spotting the rare things that fly past during a match to unlock hats, balls, rackets, and shirts.

Records and sharing

The game keeps track of your wins and losses, your win rate, how many times you were struck, and your longest rally.

Turn your results into a single image and share it.

This is just a game. If you hear real thunder or the wind picks up, head indoors. Play tennis somewhere safe.
