Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (the "Terms") govern your use of Vollog (the "App"), provided by asakusasemao (the "Developer"). By using this App, you agree to these Terms.

1. About the App

Vollog is a smartphone app for volleyball team management, match recording, and stats tracking. It is available in two plans: a free plan (Free) and a paid plan (Pro).

2. Pro Plan (Subscription)

The Pro plan is an auto-renewing subscription available on a monthly or yearly basis. While your subscription is active, you have access to all Pro features.

• Pricing and available plans (monthly / yearly) are as displayed on the Apple App Store or Google Play store page. Prices vary by country and region.
• Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account or Google account at confirmation of purchase.
• This subscription automatically renews. It renews for the same period at the same price unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
• You may cancel at any time: on iOS via Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions, or on Android via the Subscriptions section of the Google Play Store. Deleting the app alone does not cancel your subscription.
• After cancellation, you retain access to Pro features until the end of the period you have already paid for. No prorated refunds are provided for cancellation mid-period.
• Refunds are subject to the policies of the respective store (App Store / Google Play). The Developer cannot issue refunds directly.
• After changing devices or reinstalling the app, you can restore your subscription using the "Restore Purchase" feature with the same Apple ID or Google account.
• If you purchased the one-time version offered before the App moved to a subscription model, that purchase remains valid under the terms in effect at the time of purchase. No new charges will be made to those customers.

2-1. Free Trial

• A free trial period may be offered to new subscribers. Availability and duration are as shown on the store page and within the app.
• The free trial is generally limited to one per Apple ID / Google account. It does not apply if you have previously used a trial with the same account.
• Unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the free trial period, your subscription automatically converts to a paid subscription and you will be charged.
• No charge is incurred if you cancel during the free trial period.
• If you cancel during the free trial, any unused portion of the trial period is forfeited at that time.

2-2. Changes to Pricing and Plans

The Developer may change the subscription price or the contents of the plan. If the price is increased for existing subscribers, advance notice will be given in accordance with the rules of the respective store. Continuing your subscription after such notice constitutes acceptance of the new price. If you do not agree to the increase, you can cancel before the renewal date so that the new price is not charged.

3. Data Handling

All data entered in the App is stored exclusively on your device. No data is transmitted to the Developer's servers. If you delete the App, all data stored on your device will also be deleted. Please back up your data at your own responsibility.

The backup feature (Pro plan) allows you to export your data as a text file (.txt format; restoring .vollog files created by older versions is also supported). Note that player and team photos are not included in the backup file. CSV export (player list, per-match records, and period summaries) is also a Pro plan feature.

Backup files are encrypted, but complete security cannot be guaranteed. Please store and manage backup files at your own risk. If you share the file with a third party, there is a risk that your data may be read. The Developer assumes no liability for any damage caused by loss or misuse of backup files.

Restoring a backup file requires the Vollog app. The file cannot be opened with any other application.

Backup files are not saved automatically by the app. Please store them in a safe location of your choice, such as iCloud, Google Drive, or email.

4. Data Sharing

The data sharing feature allows you to export a team and selected matches as a share file (.txt format) and send it to other Vollog users for import. Creating (sending) share files is a Pro plan feature. Receiving (importing) is available to all users.

• Share files are delivered through a means of your own choosing, such as messaging apps or email. The Developer is not involved in the transfer and never receives the contents of the file.
• If the shared data contains personal information of third parties, such as player names, obtaining any necessary confirmation or consent for sharing is your responsibility.
• Player, match, and team memos are excluded from share files by default. If you enable them in the settings, please review their contents carefully before sharing.
• Once shared, the data is in the recipient's hands; the sender cannot delete or retrieve it afterwards.
• Importing a share file automatically merges it with data for the same team already on your device. You will be asked to confirm before duplicate matches or sets are imported, but there is no way to revert your data to its state before the import. If needed, create a backup before importing.
• Only import share files received from someone you trust. The Developer assumes no responsibility for the consequences of importing files of unknown origin.
• Share files are encrypted, but complete security cannot be guaranteed. Please handle share files at your own risk.
• The Developer assumes no liability for any damage arising from the use of the data sharing feature, including accidental transmission, leakage, misuse, or changes to data caused by importing received files.

5. Prohibited Activities

The following activities are prohibited:

• Reverse engineering, modifying, or redistributing the App
• Using the App for any illegal purpose
• Any other activity deemed inappropriate by the Developer

6. Disclaimer

The App is provided "as is." The Developer makes no warranties regarding the App's performance or the accuracy of any data. The Developer shall not be liable for any damages arising from the use of this App.

The App may become unavailable due to updates, changes in specifications, or discontinuation of service.

7. Discontinuation of Service

The Developer may discontinue the App with prior notice. Since the App operates entirely on local data, it will continue to function on already-installed devices even after the service ends.

8. Changes to These Terms

These Terms may be updated from time to time. Significant changes will be indicated by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in the Developer's jurisdiction.
